I don’t even know how to put last night into words—it truly felt like a dream.
I’ve always imagined a crimson clover field like this. Soft, wild, overflowing with color and light… and now it’s not just something I’ve dreamed about—it’s right here in my backyard in Henagar, Alabama.
And even more than that, I get to share it.
I get to place a mama in the middle of it, in one of the most sacred and fleeting seasons of her life, and watch her simply be. There’s something indescribable about witnessing a woman in that space—soft, strong, glowing in a way that has nothing to do with posing and everything to do with presence.
This is why I do what I do.
To slow time down.
To create space for connection.
To remind women just how beautiful they truly are.
Last night, nature absolutely showed off. The light, the color, the stillness—it all felt like it was created for this moment. And Paige was absolutely radiant in every frame.
This is just a glimpse of her session. We also captured some beautiful indoor images that tell a different side of her story, but I wanted to begin here—with the clover field, the golden light, and the emotion that surrounded it all.
These are the kinds of evenings that stay with me long after I’ve packed up my camera. The kind that remind me why I started photographing people in the first place—not just to take pictures, but to preserve feeling.
If you’ve ever dreamed of a session like this, the clover is only here for a short season. It won’t last long, but while it’s here, it’s pure magic.
